We made two films for BBC Media Action to spread COVID and Vaccination awareness amongst the waste-picker community of Bangalore. While one film showed two women discussing the pros and cons of getting vaccinated, in another film, children of waste-pickers requested their parents to get the vaccine. Both films were dubbed in Hindi and Telugu, with the original films in Kannada, and disseminated over WhatsApp for better visibility and access for the target audience.
